Now in its 131st year, Malton Show will soon be upon us!
This year’s date is Sunday 2nd July at Scampston Park, near Malton.
Malton Show is on a more modest scale than the larger agricultural summer shows that take place in the area.
Often called ‘the friendly one’, Malton Show is a firm favourite and certainly attracts the crowds.
The show includes cattle, sheep and goats; the fascinating fur and feather section; show jumping; a miniature railway; sheep dog trials; craft tent; a horticulture section; farm machinery; heavy horses; trade stands; food stands and a public bar. You can take the dog too!
This year’s chosen charity is the League of Friends, now celebrating 40 years of raising funds for Malton Hospital.

Malton Show has experienced good weather over the last few years, and if the sun shines, remember to take the sun cream, as Scampston is a real suntrap and the temperatures can soar.
Tickets prices are £10 for adults, £8 for over 65s, kids aged 11 to 18 cost £5 while under-11s go free.
If you decide to take your car, parking is free. However, Station Taxis can also take you from A to B on what will be a busy day on the roads. Give us a call on 01653 696969.
