Hallowe'en Events 2017

It’s the spookiest time of year!
As well as being half term for many of our schools in the area, it’s also Hallowe’en!
Far from being isolated to 31st October, Hallowe’en is now big business.
As well as the Trick or Treat tradition, there are lots of scary events for little (and big) witches and wizards!
A key event is the Hallowe’en Train that will run along the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors Railway from 26th to 29th October.
And there's lots more taking place in the Ryedale region ...
As well as jumping on board a steam train, the haunting darkness of Dalby Forest will also be a haven of horror on Sunday 29th October with their Fear in the Forest event, taking place from 5.30pm prompt.
Flamingo Land, between Malton and Pickering will also go all ghostly for the half term dates (14th to 29th October).
This world-renowned theme park has lots of tricks up its sleeve, including a fancy dress competition, Spooktacular firework display and a ghost walk!
Some of these venues aren’t easy to get to if you don’t have a car or rely on public transport, so why not treat (not trick) the family with a warm, dry taxi ride to and from any of the above events!
We have a first rate fleet of fifteen cars, five MPVs and five minibuses - why not gather the little and big ghosts in our family and make it a real occasion!
